DIY Makeup Brush Holder
Last week I shared with you all how I made my own nail polish rack but after making it I still had left over foam board. With the left over foam board I decided to make myself a makeup brush holder. I had a few brushes in a glass cup and the rest in my brush roll. Since my hubby bought me a desk for Christmas to use as my vanity, I'm still rearranging things and trying to figure out how I want things organized. So here is how I made my brush hold with my left over material.

DIY Nail Polish Rack
So over the weekend I started a little project that I've been dying to do. I've looked at many youtube videos and decided to make my own nail polish rack. The one I made is out of foam board but I plan on making one out of wood in the future, I was just curious to see how sturdy the foam board one would be. Here is the video I followed so if you are interested you can make own of your own.

Stained Nails?
In my last post I did a St. Patrick's Day nail design but before putting the on polish I forgot to use a nail base. BIG MISTAKE!! Today I removed the nail polish and guess what? My nails were really yellow and disgusting. I googled online how to remove or at least lighten the yellow stains. I came across one that only required 3 items and this is what you'll need (what I used)
Nail Buffer
1 small bowl/container
2 lemons
Toothpaste (since most are used for whitening)
Festive Hot Chocolate
With the weather getting colder, nights getting longer and with Christmas around the corner, nothing beats a night of hot chocolate! But why not make drinking hot chocolate a bit festive and fun for the kids (if you have any)and for us adults? Here is what I did for my son last week and his eyes lit up, lol. He's now always asking for me to make it for him.
How I depot my UDPP
I wanted to share with you how I depot my Urban Decay Primer Potion. This is the second time I've done this and next time I buy UDPP I really hope the tube is available. Depotting the UDPP can be a bit hard because of the thick packaging.
What I use

Small empty container
The sharpest kitchen knife I can find
Small spatula
and of course my UDPP

French Tip Nails
A while back I had found a video on You Tube on how to do your own french manicure, which has really helped me and I truly say that after trying this I love how my own nails came out. Before I would try to just paint the tip of my nails but I could just never get it right and after trying over and over again I would just get frustrated and remove it. So when I found this video of course I was happy and I finally gave it a try today. I don't know about you but I do not have a steady hand so that is why this really helped. If you wish see the video here it is and it's a video by sccastaneda.
