Chevron Nails

Hello beauties! About 3 weeks ago I had purchased some nail stickers to do new nail designs. I have noticed how girls on IG where using these vinyl stickers to get these designs so I decided to purchase some for myself. I purchased 3 different types of stickers: strips, chevron and single chevron from Neverland Lacquers who used to be Pop Culture Cosmetics.
Each of the stickers I bought contain 100 each and I got them on sale!

Yes, it's been awhile.....

Hello loves, I know it has been some time since I last blogged but to be honest it was sort of hard to keep up and do what I wanted to do with having to live with other people. Not that they kept me from doing it but I just somehow couldn't keep up with it. So good news is that we have our place again!! I hope with having our own place again I can get back into blogging.

If you do not follow me on Instagram then you probably have not seen any of my nail posts so what I will do is post the pictures here to get you all caught up. If you don't follow me on Instagram feel free to do so, you can find me under: MakeupPolishObsessed. Please keep in mind that it is my personal IG account so not only will you find pictures about nail polish and makeup but you will also kind posts of other stuff I'm into...read the bio it explains everything :)

Mummies and Frankenstein!

Hi everyone! I did another easy design with using a mummy and Frankenstein as the inspiration for my nails.

What I used for this design was:
Sinful Colors - Irish Green
Revlon - Elegant
Sinful Colors - Black on Black
Jordana - White
Dotting Tools
Fan Brush

Here is my cute and easy design!

Candy Corn and Pumpkins

Wow! I can't believe Halloween is almost here! This week I'll be sharing simple Halloween nail designs that are easy for you to do.

My first one this week is Candy Corn and Pumpkins. For this I used:
Orly - Tangerine
Circus by Andrea - Somersault
Jordana - White
Sinful Colors - HD Nails

As you can see this design is not hard at all. For the Candy Corn I used tape each time I applied the colors. For the pumpkins I used used a nail brush to try and paint on the faces. Although I did not come out perfect it still looks cute!

Instagram Posts

Hi Everyone I'm so sorry for the lack of posts but my computer is just getting worse by shutting down every so often and of course the internet is so slow! Anyhow I just wanted to share some of my Instagram posts with you all which are some nail posts as well as some mini hauls! (PICTURE HEAVY)

First I'll start off with my nails
Sinful Colors Black on Black and NailNation Holodreams

This was a design I found looking through Google images searching for Disney/Minnie designs for my Disneyland trip.

Leopard Nails and Father's Day

Hi Everyone! So I finally did a nail design, it's a simple design but cute.

I used China Glaze Flip Flop Fantasy, NailNation3000 Holodreams and Sinful Colors Black nail polish. Here is what the design looks like using a flash. This was my second try at leopard design.

Pop of Color

First I want really apologize for my lack of posts, since moving into our new place the internet is so slow. I swear it's turtle slow and its so annoying having to wait a min or two just for a page to load. I'm hoping we can find a faster internet service, soon.

I want to share my nails of the week which is a nude manicure with a pop of color. I used OPI Tickle My France-y, which is my favorite nude polish color. Used China Glaze Sunday Funday for a pop of color.

Haul and Anaheim Ducks N.O.T.W.

Hello beauties! So how many of you are hockey fans? Well I am and I'm a Anaheim Ducks hockey fan and you might know that if you follow me on twitter or instagram. Right now the Ducks are in the Stanley Cup playoffs and they are going through the first round of the playoffs against the Detroit Red Wings and guess what? My husband is a Detroit Red Wings fan so of course right now watching the playoffs together is intense lol. My team is winning is the series 2-1!!! I thought I would do my nails to show my team spirit.

I think the "D" logo came out pretty good for the first try!

Mermaid Inspired Nails

If you follow me on instagram you've probably noticed how often I've been going to Disneyland. My family and I are huge Disneyland kids and love being there! We bought the premium annual passports after wanting passes for so long and have been getting the most out of them. Here are a few collages of the trips we made.

Our most recent trip to Disneyland to check out the Iron Man costumes on display

Spring Ready!

Hi everyone! I wanted to do a quick post showing you my NOTW (Nails of the Week). Now that spring is here I'm so glad that I can use my pastels and bright color polishes.  I try to do the gradient nail design but I just can't master it, so for now all I can do is try :) I am pretty happy with the way my nails came out and I love colors! This week I used Sinful Colors Candy Coated, Sugar Rush and Cotton Candy and top it off with Orly Shine On Crazy Diamond.  Here are a few pictures of my nails with and without flash.

Christmas Presents & Lights

This week I sort of got stuck on what to do for a Christmas nail design but after searching I'd figure I do this design. The Christmas lights were easier than I thought they would be.

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town

Hi Everyone I hope you have all had a great weekend! I just started a new job after the previous job I've been at for almost 6 years closed its doors. It was sad but I was blessed with a job where I am doing the same thing as the last and I'm working with many coworkers from my previous job. My weekend went by so fast but it was fun, we finally got our Christmas tree today and my place smells like a fresh tree :)

Let It Snow Nails

Oh the weather outside is frightful
But the fire is so delightful
And since we've no place to go
Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!

Finally its my favorite time of the year, Christmas!!! My family and I LOVE Christmas, not because of the presents but for the true meaning Christmas. To us its about the birth of Jesus and all time we spend with our families.  So now that Christmas is just right around the corner I did a cute Let It Snow nail design.

Thanksgiving Nails

Hello and I hope you all had a great weekend!! So are you all looking forward to Thanksgiving? I know I am! For the past 5 years I've been making the Thanksgiving dinner for my family and I enjoy it very much. So what is your favorite part of Thanksgiving dinner? Mine is the cranberry sauce, not from the can but homemade. I love all other stuff that's tied in with the dinner but I can't have it without my cranberry sauce.

Ok, so on to my Thanksgiving nails and here is what I did for my design

Fall Nails and Winner

Hope you are all having a great weekend! So I haven't posted anything for about a week or so but that is because I had got sick and didn't feel up to blogging. I've been better now and today I did a fall nail design.
Here is what I used
Used: Jesse's Girl Stiletto, Essence Walk of Fame, Jordana Orangesicle and Circus Somersault.

Jack Skellington Nails

Let me just start off by saying that I am not much of a Halloween person but this year I thought I'd have some fun with it. But before I show you my new nail design let me first share with you some of the new nail polishes I picked up this week.

N.O.T.W. - Under Your Spell

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I spent my Saturday moving around my living room and rearranged it about 10 times before sticking with the layout I have now. So now that its Sunday, its time for my Sunday routine which is doing my weekly mani! I used the new nail polishes I picked up earlier this week
Used Fergie's Tonight's Gonna Be a Good Night with Under Your Spell, which I think are a perfect combo for October!

October Breast Cancer Awareness Month

I can't believe that October is already here, this year has just been flying by! Now that we are in October I thought I would do a Breast Cancer Awareness manicure. This particular subject is something that all of us a women should take seriously and make sure to get checked for on occasion. As I've said in past posts, Breast Cancer is something that has been in my family for years and not only one side of my family but both. Some of the women in my family have either past away from it or survived it. To get more info on how to educate yourself about Breast Cancer go over to the Susan G Komen website and you'll be able to find many resources to help you out.

Fall Leopard Nails

I don't know about you all but I am gladly welcoming fall!! I'm not a summer person and can't stand the heat, so I am ready for some cooler temps. Since it's officially fall its time to get those fall color mani's out! This weeks "Nail of the Week" (N.O.T.W.) was my first attempt at doing a leopard print :)

Keeping It Simple

This week I had wanted to do a really cute manicure but just wasn't feeling it this weekend and because of that I did a french tip manicure.

Sorry didn't really get to clean it up that much.
